I have updated my desktop to Ubuntu 11.04.  I am not sure that I like unity all that much.  It just seems to hide things too much.  I was thinking about trying something different for a while but I am also feeling quite lazy.  I will probably end up sticking with Ubuntu 11.04 for a while.   

 

I did have one odd issue.  For some reason the X key was configured to launch the file manager.  It was quite irratating untill I figured out to open the keyboard shortcut menu and change the home button from x to control + alt+ X.
