ubuntu 8.04

Well I have been using Ubuntu 8.04 for several days and it seems to be working fairly well.  I have mostly used it for email, websurfing, and playing music with rythm box.

I have had a couple of minor issues.  My keyboard did not want to work at first but after a reboot or two it straightened itself out.  I don’t know what caused it but it fixed itself.  The other issue is firefox 3.  It semi-frequently feezes for a couple of seconds before finaly doing what I tell it to.  Of course it is a beta so there will be problems but it is still quite annoying.

I am running it on my IBM thinkcentre s51 and every thing pretty much works out of the box.   I don’t appear to have a functioning comp-biz but why would I want it anyway.
